Estatic kirtan video. At around the 2:30 mark onwards you will see HH Bhakitmarga Swami dive into the crowd and then join other souls chanting the Maha mantra estatically.
Earlier this year my dad and I wento see Maharaj in the hospital after he had hernia surgery and there was a brief discussion about an upcoming program and I liked what he said...."kirtan unites".
As they say...proof is in the pudding...and the pudding is as sweet as Krishna's name!

Check out the excellent video with His Grace Aindra Prabhu's voice.
Below are 2 chanting clips posted on YouTube with my son and my wife.
The kirtan was at a Hindu temple and the main congregation came in around 5pm on Sunday. They were very supportive and when Japa was done in the main temple room not only did everyone participate but all the Japa beads were taken, with sincere hope that they continue on at home.
A lot of young people wanted beads but even the book table ran out with some youngsters very disappointed. But it shows the "hunger" for the maha-mantra and the attraction where teenagers were more enthused than their parents to take the holy name.
The other highlight was too see some old faces that used to come to ISKCON regularly and for whatever reason have fallen off. There were also some faces that I did not recognize that said they come irregularly as well. Both groups promised to come more and hopefully they will follow through to take shelter of Srila Prabhupada and Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha.
Mutual encouragement came from an unexpected source, an old devotee that we hardly see anymore. He is not as active in devotional service as he wants to be but he was very happy to see my son and daughter, who he has known since they were kids, still serving Srila Prabhupada. He talked about all the "tests" we face and had supportive words for our continued service to Srila Prabhupada. I encouraged him to do the same and later on he took some books from the table as well. When he met my daughter-in-law, Kishori, he told about a Prabhupada memory that even I did not know and my son does not remember. He told Kishori that when her husband was a kid he was fussing and then Srila Prabhupada gave him his garland and Indresh quieted down. It was a nice and heart warming encounter.
