Oprah always ranks in the top 10 of wealthiest Americans. Probably the richest woman in America due to her savvy business dealings.

Perhaps she is finally getting the mercy of the Lord for the spiritual advancement of her soul.

Bhakta Don: Don't get too excited Oprah is on a very clever Obama vote getting campaign aimed at secular religious voting pacts (New Vr. is Hindu she thinks or was told). She recently locked up the Amish, Orthodox Jews, Minnonites etc. for her boy. Slam dunking his re-election. There's no way she's gonna let Obama lose..ain't gonna happen ..period! I saw someone call her out on it and she sheepishly denied the timing of it all saying it was just her and her curisoty..that's all. In an election year! Suspicous. She also was seen in a Amish dress. Took flat bread in Jewish Communion. Its politics politics, politics.

Regardless of her reasoning..its pretty cool that someone of her stature and wealth has come to Vraj!!! It can be something amazing..thousands of people will chant the Lords Name,just because she visitied,and not to mention ,the mercy of the Lord bestowed upon her from stepping on Holy Land..she got there before me!!! Jaya..it kinda makes me happy..I grew up in Brooklyn watching her with my Mama...my mom will be more interested in Krsna!!! Heh...

Krishna consciousness is so wonderful that irrespective of her motive visiting the Holy Dham of Sri Vrindavan will give her great benefit materially and spiritually, and by her going there so many others will gain benefit too by talking about Krishna about Vrindavan, and maybe even going there themselves. All of you are missing the point. Srila Prabhupada always courted the rich and famous, because they have influence over others. "Whatever a great man does, common men will follow." Oprah is blessed, and she can understand that she has received the Lords blessings. Now, she can come to understand God in His fullness through Krsna consciousness, but just as in the past ISKCON members have created so much bad press due to ignorance and arrogance, rather then being humble and serving the greater community. Be happy that she has taken advantage of this opportunity in Vrindaban. This arrangement was strictly between her and Krsna and Radharani.

Its very difficult to understand that we all love lord krishna and he used to own more than 1000000 cows and now in INDIA COW SLAUGHTER IS THE COMMON AFFAIR NOT ONLY THEY SLAUGHTER THEM BUT GIVE THEM EXTREME PAIN
GOVIND IS SEEN EVERY THING AND HE DO THE JUSTICE VERY SOON AND THE INDIANS WHO IS SUPPORTING THIS CAUSE OF SAVING WILL HAVE BLESSING OF ALMIGHTY

It's Good For All That A Well Known Person Visits Brindavan and brings All the media attention to a Glorious Cause of "Krishna Consciousness"

In one of her shows, she was glorifying disabled persons who, in dispite of difficulties, manage to keep their high spirit, fighting against all odds to make positive changes around them and also to make a better world.

I remember she said that time "WE ARE NOT THE BODIES".
So Lord Krishna heard her and helped her to get the ultimate blessing - to be in holy Vrindavan dham.

Her life is blessed, forget the politics, money, everything - her life is blessed.

Isn't it that everyone is good for Krishna consciousness, no matter what he is promoting? KC is our original state, so whatever we are doing now should be transformed or rejected. I was eating meet, so this is much much much much worse than veganism, and still I am happy to practice at least something from Krishna consciousness.

She has bestowed great mercy upon Vrindavan by her presence! Jai!!
